We're working with an established Chartered Accounting firm in Mackay with a long-standing presence in the local business community and a diverse client base across a range of industries.The practice provides services across taxation, business services, business advisory, audit and assurance, and SMSF, giving you the opportunity to work across a broad range of client matters while continuing to develop your technical and advisory skills.The RoleAs a Senior Accountant, you'll work across a variety of accounting, taxation and business advisory matters, including:Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returnsBAS preparation and taxation complianceTax planning and advisory workAccounting and reporting, budgeting and cash flow analysisBusiness advisory matters across a range of client structuresWorking directly with clients and developing strong client relationshipsSupporting and mentoring junior members of the team where requiredThe firm's client base includes businesses across mining services, agriculture, construction and fabrication, retail, healthcare and property.This provides genuine exposure to different industries, business structures and client requirements rather than simply repeating the same type of work.Skilled DevelopmentThe firm places a strong emphasis on training and continuing professional education,
