Having experience on fuel SMP projects working for a contractor would be even better.
You will be running projects from smaller up to $5m to $10m.
Other projects in the future could be $20m+.
You will need to have delivered SMP projects prior for a contractor.As Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, you will need to have solid commercial acumen, contracts management, design management, OHS,



programming / planning experience as well as running meetings with consultants and subcontractors to provide a high quality service that will ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Design comprehensive project programmes and communicate to teamProject delivery from inception through to completionEnsure construction programmes are followed & deliver on project quality to programmeIdentify and manage construction risk through all projects, escalating issues when requiredManage project expenditure and cash flowManagement and achievement of external engineering design aspects of projectsDesign managementManage subcontractors on siteManage and maintain HSEQ requirements on the projectProduce progress reportsDeliver and manage client expectationsQualifications and Requirements:Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or similarMinimum 5 to 15 years+ experience in the successful delivery of projects from start to finish ideally from a Tier 1 or 2 or 3 backgroundProven leadership ability in building and motivating teams to deliver high quality projectsPrevious experience delivering greenfield projectsDetailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standardsStrong planning and project financial reporting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed interpersonal skillsExperience with Microsoft Office suiteConstruction Safety Induction (white) cardThis is a permanent full time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
