Our studios foster an inclusive, supportive environment where people are encouraged to contribute, grow and do meaningful work.The Role:Providing day to day leadership and project management throughout the project lifecycle, the Project Architect / Coordinator will offer technical expertise and quality assurance.Lead the design and development of architectural projectsProvide guidance and oversight,
developing workflows to be followedCarry out feasibility studies identifying site constraints to determine best course of actionPrepare and present design proposals, feasibility reports to clientsEnsure designs consider constraining factors such the National Construction Code (NCC), town planning etc.Keep track of actual project hours relative to fee proposalPerform site visits to ensure project alignment with design intent and resolve issuesSkills & Experience:Registration via relevant state/territory Architect Registration Board preferred but not critical5+ years' experience in an architectural studio environmentProficiency in CAD software (DKO uses ArchiCAD)Solid knowledge of the NCC, local council requirements, town planning and environmental impactsKnowledge of construction methodologies, building codes and planning ordinancesExcellent communication, whether written, visual, or verbalExceptional organisation, time management and coordinationExposure to leadership responsibilities within an architectural firmWhat We Offer:Work in an award-winning studio with a focus on equity and inclusionWork in a friendly, supportive, fun and creative team environmentOpportunities for career progressionExposure to projects across AustraliaProfessional membershipsEmployee Assistance Program to support mental health for you and your familyWellness initiatives and social eventsGenerous parental leave policyEmployer questions:Your application will include the following questions:Are you currently registered with an architect's board in Australia?
