Senior Business Analyst (Insurance) | Day Rate Contract | Up to $**** + Super per day | Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a high-profile insurance transformation program focused on the design and delivery of a new Commercial Insurance product.
This role is ideal for someone who has worked across insurance product delivery, finance, reporting and reinsurance initiatives and can confidently lead discovery, requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement activities within complex environments.
About the Role
You will play a key role in the discovery and inception phase of a strategic program that will deliver a current insurance product to market.
Working across multiple workstreams, you will partner with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, shape solutions and support future-state delivery.
The role requires strong business analysis capability combined with experience working across insurance, finance, reporting, data and regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities
Lead discovery and requirements gathering activities across multiple workstreamsFacilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholdersCapture and document business,



functional and non-functional requirementsDevelop user stories, process maps and business requirements documentationAnalyse current and future-state business processesWork closely with Finance, Reinsurance, Pricing and Reporting teamsConduct impact assessments and gap analysis activitiesSupport solution design, delivery planning and implementation activitiesManage stakeholder engagement across business and technology teamsContribute to testing, readiness and delivery activities where required
Required Experience
Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within InsuranceExperience leading discovery and inception activitiesStrong requirements elicitation and workshop facilitation skillsExperience working with finance, reporting or data-focused initiativesExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsStrong business process mapping and analysis capabilityExperience delivering large-scale transformation or technology programsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
