This is an exciting opportunity for a highly capable estimator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play an integral role in securing and delivering successful civil construction projects.About the RoleAs a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a range of civil construction projects.
Working closely with management, project teams, subcontractors and suppliers, you will play a key role from initial tender review through to project award and handover.Key responsibilities include:Reviewing project plans, specifications, scopes and tender documentationPreparing detailed and accurate cost estimates and tendersDeveloping competitive and commercially sound pricing strategiesPreparing subcontractor and supplier packages and obtaining quotationsConducting quantity take-offs and analysing project costsIdentifying project risks, exclusions, opportunities and potential variationsBuilding robust relationships with subcontractors,



suppliers and clientsParticipating in tender negotiations and clarification processesWorking closely with Project Managers and Construction Teams during project handoverMaintaining accurate estimating records and ensuring deadlines are metContributing to continuous improvement of estimating processes and systemsAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is experienced, commercially minded and confident in their estimating ability.You will ideally have:Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within civil constructionStrong knowledge of civil construction methodologies, materials and costsExperience estimating projects from $1M through to major civil projectsExcellent understanding of plans, specifications and contract documentationStrong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skillsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsThe ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlinesA strong commercial understanding and ability to identify project risks and opportunitiesProficiency with estimating software and Microsoft OfficeA proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independentlyWhy Join Us?
