Senior Operational Contracts Manager (Tasmania, Relocation)A confidential chance is available for an experienced Senior Operational Contracts Manager to join a leading energy provider in Tasmania.This is a senior operational role responsible for overseeing high value, complex contracts, contractor performance, compliance, budgets and commercial outcomes, while leading a small team and managing key internal and external stakeholders.About the roleManage multiple high-value, multi-year operational contracts and programsOversee contract performance, KPIs, budgets, compliance and riskLead and develop a small operational support teamManage key supplier and contractor relationshipsSupport tenders, negotiations, contract renewals and the full contract lifecycleDrive cost efficiencies, performance improvements and environmental outcomesWork closely with operational, legal, supply chain and regulatory stakeholdersEnsure safe, compliant and uninterrupted delivery of essential servicesManage complex stakeholder relationships, including contractors,



councils and regulatory bodiesSome after-hours/on-call participation may be requiredWhat you'll bringDemonstrated experience in a similar supervisory/management role involving operational and people managementProven experience managing large, high-value supply and services contractsExperience with Panel Agreements and contract lifecycle managementStrong commercial, negotiation, analytical and supplier-management skillsDemonstrated contract management and risk-management experienceExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to a broad audienceTertiary qualification in business management or a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent competenceStrong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external partiesExperience with auditing, reporting, performance monitoring or data analysis is advantageousUtilities, water, infrastructure or a similar operational background is highly regardedCert IV in Frontline Management is desirableCurrent Australian C-Class driver's licenceThis is a confidential opportunity.
