We're looking for someone with strong technical foundations who's ready to take on greater ownership of client relationships, mentor junior team members, and build the experience needed to move into a Manager position.Join our Business Advisory team in Geelong and work across a dynamic portfolio of clients – with genuine support and a explicit pathway to progress into management.Your role, your contributionTake the lead on preparing business advice and producing complex special purpose reports for clientsOversee the preparation of financial statements, reconciliations and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and a range of individual businessesProactively guide clients on their compliance obligations, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor rather than just a preparerManage relationships with external providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clientsBegin taking on informal leadership responsibilities — reviewing junior work, providing feedback, and supporting team developmentBuild and maintain strong client relationships, with increasing autonomy over how those relationships are managedWhat you bring to the roleSolid experience in Business Advisory within public practice, ideally with some exposure to reviewing or guiding junior staffFringe Benefits Tax and Deferred Tax experience highly regardedCA or CPA qualified, or very close to completionStrong analytical skills and the confidence to advise clients directly on complex issuesProficiency in Excel and cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB)Strong communication skills and the confidence to represent the firm in client-facing situationsOur Impact: Why Findex?
