You'll work across a mix of civil and water projects, staying hands‐on with design while influencing outcomes from concept through to completion.About the roleThis is a practical, end-to-end design role.
You'll be involved in everything from early feasibility and planning through to detailed design, documentation and delivery.Day to day, you'll be:Designing and modelling civil and water infrastructure using tools like 12D, DRAINS and AutoCADManaging your own project workflows, including timelines, budgets and deliverablesPreparing technical reports, contracts and supporting documentationLiaising directly with clients, councils and stakeholders throughout approvals and deliveryGetting out on site when needed to understand conditions and support project progressSupporting junior engineers and contributing to a collaborative team environmentYou'll work closely with the Engineering Team Lead but have the autonomy to run with your own work.What we're looking forWe're looking for someone who is confident in their technical ability and comfortable taking responsibility for projects.Must have:Around 5+ years' experience in civil design (ideally within Australia)Solid understanding of local development approval processesStrong experience with 12D,



DRAINS and/or AutoCADAbility to manage projects and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholdersNice to have:CPEng (or working towards it)Experience across both civil and water projectsAn interest in mentoring or guiding junior team membersThe team and environmentYou'll be part of a close-knit engineering team where people are approachable and get on with the job.
