We are seeking two Senior Control Systems Engineers for an initial 6‐month contract roles based in Brisbane.
These positions suit experienced automation engineers who excel in structured PLC development, standards‐driven environments, and AI‐assisted engineering workflows.The RoleAs a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will focus on the development, quality, and governance of PLC code, with an emphasis on standardisation, traceability, and testing.Your responsibilities will include:Designing and implementing PLC logic using established architectures and templatesDeveloping and evolving equipment templates and common logic patternsReviewing PLC implementations to ensure alignment with coding, naming, and deployment standardsMaintaining clear traceability between control code, Functional Descriptions, and associated test documentationInvestigating and resolving complex faults identified during bench testing and simulationFollowing structured version control and change management processesSupporting continuous improvement of engineering methods, standards, and toolingYou will bring strong hands‐on experience across industrial automation platforms, including:PLC programming:
