Senior Speech Pathologist (Full Time / Part Time / Casual)Marsden Park, NSW | Full-time, Part-time, Casual or Contractor$105,000-$120,000 + superannuation, depending on experienceMarsden Therapy is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Speech Pathologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team at Marsden Park.This position is available on a full-time, part-time, casual or contractor basis.
Flexible working arrangements are available, including a combination of clinic-based, community, telehealth and suitable work-from-home duties.Eligible full-time employees may also choose a four-day working week, completing their 38 contracted hours and applicable productivity targets across four days rather than five.You will work alongside speech pathologists, occupational therapists and behaviour support practitioners to provide coordinated, evidence-based support to children, adolescents and adults.About the roleAs a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will manage a wide-ranging caseload while also contributing to clinical leadership, supervision and the ongoing development of Marsden Therapy's speech pathology services.Your responsibilities will include:Conducting comprehensive speech, language, communication and swallowing assessments, where within your scope of practiceDeveloping personalised, evidence-based intervention plansDelivering therapy to children, adolescents and adults across clinic, community and telehealth settingsApplying strong paediatric clinical knowledge across a range of communication and developmental presentationsWorking collaboratively with families, schools,
support coordinators and other professionalsCollaborating with occupational therapists and behaviour support practitioners as part of a multidisciplinary teamMaintaining timely and accurate clinical records, reports and participant documentationProviding supervision, mentoring and clinical support to junior speech pathologists and allied health assistantsParticipating in clinical meetings, training, service development and continuous improvement activitiesMeeting the productivity expectations applicable to your employment arrangementAbout youTo be successful in this position, you will have:A recognised tertiary qualification in Speech PathologyAt least four years of post-graduate speech pathology experienceStrong demonstrated experience working with paediatric clientsCurrent Speech Pathology Australia membership and Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status, or eligibility to obtain itStrong clinical reasoning and evidence-based intervention skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to build positive relationships with clients, families and other professionalsExperience supervising or mentoring junior clinicians or therapy assistantsA commitment to professional development, quality improvement and ethical practiceValid Australian working rightsA current National Police CheckA current Working With Children CheckA current NDIS Worker Screening Check,
