The role will suit a candidate with more than 10 years' experience.
The position is based in Alexandria, Sydney, NSW.Vipac is a multi-disciplinary consultancy that provides vibration, acoustics and other services to building, infrastructure, oil and gas, industrial, mining and commercial clients.About YouWe are looking for the following skills and attributes from the successful applicant, with an eagerness to learn:A degree or post graduate qualifications in audio engineering, mechanical engineering or similar science degree;The role will involve work in a broad spectrum of technical areas;At least 10 years industry experience is preferred,



with experience in acoustics;Familiarity with proprietary instrumentation and commercial software is important;Competent report writing skills;Willingness to travel for field work and flexibility with working hours;Strong communication skills; andA team player who is able to work independently when required.Project Work Will InvolvePerforming acoustic analysis, modelling, problem solving on a range of projects.Conduct field work as required with the use of our vast range of equipmentPrepare acoustic reports for external clients, with a view to meeting technical and budgetary requirementsProven project management experience would be valued.The remuneration will follow industry standards and be commensurate with experience.
