Growing construction head contractor with some consulting work tooProject experience on high rise residential 30 to 50 floors+ is idealDynamic & progressive culture, excellent career opportunity.Exciting opportunity with dynamic and growing team with a great track record.Our client is a construction head contractor who also do come consulting work who are looking for an enthusiastic Estimator or Senior Estimator or Cost Planner to join their innovative team to work on a high-rise residential projects amongst others.The candidate can come from the client or head contractor side but will ideally have some experience working on head contractor side on 30 to 50+ storey high rise residential projects in the Brisbane market with local knowledge.Projects will be recent build in nature and candidates will have needed to have priced large new build projects in the past.Years of experience5 - 10+ yearsKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost plans and estimates across all project stagesDevelop feasibility studies and benchmark cost analysisProvide procurement and tendering adviceReview drawings,



specifications, and contract documentationUndertake risk assessments and value engineering exercisesPrepare Bills of Quantities (where applicable)Assess variations and progress claimsLiaise with clients, consultants, and contractorsContribute to business development and client relationship managementAbout You5 - 10+ years' experience in cost planning or estimating (consultancy experience highly regarded)Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similarStrong knowledge of Australian construction costs and market conditionsExcellent analytical and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and strong commercial acumenProficiency in cost estimating software and ExcelRICS or AIQS membership (or working towards) is advantageousThis is a full-time permanent position providing a great opportunity to work with an established organisation who offer challenging work.
