We are looking for an experienced environmental leader to join our Risk and Compliance team asSuperintendent Environment – Execution.Reporting to theManager Environment and Approvals, you will lead the environmental execution teams responsible for implementing environmental management across Hancock Iron Ore's operational assets, includingmine, rail, port and contract mining operations.

You bring a practical approach to compliance, strong leadership capability and a focus on improving environmental performance.Skills and experienceSignificant experience in environmental management within mining, resources or heavy industry, including experience leading teams and environmental programs on operational sitesStrong knowledge of environmental legislation, approvals and compliance requirements within regulated operational environmentsExperience managing environmental monitoring programs, audits, incident investigations and environmental risk managementProven ability to work collaboratively with operational teams and engage with regulators, contractors and other external stakeholdersExperience managing environmental consultants and contractors and supporting operational teams to implement environmental practicesRelevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or a related discipline and a current Australian C‐class driver's licence; experience with environmental management systems, rehabilitation or data analytics is highly regarded
