SCM REF Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Bankstown and help drive the development of creative refrigeration solutions for the Australian market.As a leading OEM servicing the Australian refrigeration industry, SCM REF Australia specialises in customised refrigeration systems designed and manufactured locally by our skilled engineering and production teams.
As part of the global Beijer Ref Group, we're committed to sustainable technologies and the development of environmentally friendly refrigeration solutions.About the roleThis is a hands-on role responsible for leading electrical design and product development projects from concept through to production.You'll be involved in:Electrical design and development of refrigeration systems and equipmentControl panel design, wiring schematics and component selectionNew product development and continuous improvement initiativesProduct testing, validation and problem solvingEnsuring compliance with Australian Electrical Standards and regulationsWorking closely with production teams, suppliers and key stakeholdersSupporting sustainable refrigeration technologies and future-focused solutionsAbout youWe're looking for someone who can combine strong technical capability with a practical,



solutions-focused approach.You'll bring:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringStrong electrical design and troubleshooting skillsExperience interpreting and creating electrical schematics and control systemsKnowledge of Australian Electrical Standards and compliance requirementsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsA proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvementExperience within refrigeration, HVAC, manufacturing, industrial equipment or OEM environments will be highly regarded.Why Join SCM REF Australia?
