The Role
Reporting to the Procurement Coordinator,the purpose of this position is to workcollaboratively within the Procurement team to deliver effective, compliant andvalue for money procurement outcomes by coordinating and supporting Council'sprocurement activities whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislation,policies, procedures and governance requirements
About You
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skillsincluding the ability to interact effectively with both internal and externalstakeholders, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exercising soundjudgement.




You will be able to work independently and as part of a team andmeet organisational and legislative deadlines.
Relevant Procurement or other relevanttertiary qualification or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience on contractadministration and contract performance management
Awareness of legislation applicable toprocurement in Local Government
Proven experience relating to processesassociated with tendering and quotations
Proven knowledge of Australian Standard General Conditionsrelating to construction, consultancy and goods and other services
The right to live and work in Australia
Class C Drivers Licence
WHS General Construction Work in NSW
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Successful applicants will be required toundergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
