Recruitment Consultant - Senior Accounting & Finance

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer with over 60 years of history, supplying industrial products across multiple sites in Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and New South Wales.

The Role
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
End-to-end fortnightly payroll processing for *********employees across multiple states, including shift workers, timesheet-based staff and salaried employeesEnsure payroll compliance with Australian legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, superannuation, taxation and leave entitlementsConduct ad hoc payroll audits to verify wages, superannuation, leave entitlements and deductionsRespond to employee and manager payroll queries; maintain strong working relationships across HR,



Finance and operational teamsAssist with the preparation of BAS, FBT, PTS and other compliance workSupport the transition to a new payroll system, including data validation, testing, process mapping and post-go-live issue resolutionMaintain robust payroll records and ensure data integrity across all payroll systemsAssistance with other ad hoc accounting duties if/when required
The Person
Considerable end-to-end payroll experience, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial or multi-site environmentPrior involvement in a payroll system migration or implementationSound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and enterprise agreementsAdvanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations and data analysisHigh level of accuracy, confidentiality and the ability to meet strict payroll deadlinesStrong communication and problem-solving skills; confident supporting employees and managers across multiple sites
