We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their Finance and Administration team in a hands-on role managing a large, complex payroll function.This position is ideal for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a busy environment, has strong EBA experience, and takes pride in delivering accurate and compliant payroll outcomes while being part of a cooperative and supportive team.About the RoleReporting into the Finance team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of a high-volume payroll while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end processing of a high-volume payroll for 500+ employeesManaging complex payroll requirements within an EBA environmentInterpreting Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, awards, overtime calculations, allowances, and payroll legislationReviewing, validating, and approving timesheets and payroll adjustmentsProcessing superannuation, payroll tax, and other statutory payroll obligationsAssisting with payroll reporting, reconciliations, audits,



and compliance activitiesResponding to payroll-related queries from employees and managementIdentifying opportunities for process improvements and payroll efficienciesWorking cooperatively with the Payroll and Finance team to ensure smooth payroll operationsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:Minimum 5 years experience in a senior payroll position managing large and complex payrollsStrong experience working within EBA and/or blue-collar workforce environmentsProven ability to process high-volume payrolls accurately and efficientlySound knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and statutory obligationsExceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skillsStrong organisational and time management abilitiesThe ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environmentExperience using Pronto Payroll will be highly regarded, though not essentialWhats on OfferOpportunity to join a growing and successful businessSupportive and cooperative team cultureEstablished payroll function with shared workload supportAnnual Christmas shutdown aligned with the ETU calendarLong-term career opportunity within a secure and reputable organisationProfessional office-based working workplace
