A well-establishedvolume residential developer-builder with a strong pipeline of projects across Sydney is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join its growing team.About the RoleThis is a hands-on position where you'll be responsible for both estimating and procurement, working across the full pre-construction process from project pricing through to subcontractor engagement and procurement.You'll work closely with senior management, project teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are accurately priced and competitively procured.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed estimates, budgets and cost plans for residential projectsReview architectural and engineering drawings, specifications and scopesComplete quantity take-offs and pricing of trade packagesManage subcontractor tendering and procurementObtain,



assess and negotiate subcontractor quotationsCompare pricing and recommend subcontractors for appointmentDevelop and maintain robust subcontractor and supplier relationshipsIdentify cost-saving opportunities and undertake value engineeringEnsure projects are procured within budget and programmeCoordinate the transition from estimating/procurement into constructionAbout YouStrong residential construction experience, ideally within a builder or developer-builderHands-on experience across both estimating and procurementStrong understanding of subcontractor packages, pricing and construction costsStrong attention to detail and commercial awarenessExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsWhat's on Offer$150K + SuperStrong pipeline of residential projectsHands-on ownership across estimating and procurementClose exposure to senior managementOpportunity for long-term career progression
