and mitigating environmental concerns through evidence-based practicesShow skills in implementation of Behaviour Support Plans in collaboration with and centred around the focus person - employing data to inform supports and improve outcomesGrowing and cultivating strong relationships with key implementers and stakeholdersDemonstrate a commitment to reflective practice and growing your knowledge and skills in PBS in a leadership positionEmbracing and elevating the client's voice and input, promoting client satisfaction and strong outcomes.What we are looking for?
:A BSP who is passionate about best practiceA BSP who wants to take the next step and enjoys working with, learning from, and teaching othersRegistration as a Proficient or above Behaviour Support PractitionerLeadership experience or potential with a commitment to continuous learningAn Undergraduate or Postgraduate DegreeExperience working with or supporting people with a disability across age rangesExcellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsVery strong time management skillsStrong ability to follow legislative requirements, policy and proceduresExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleaguesA proactive attitude with passion for working with people with a disabilityA Driver's Licence and own a vehicle with insuranceNDIS Worker's Screening CheckOngoing commitment to professional development and learningDesired:Advanced or Specialist registration as a Behaviour Support PractitionerPost-graduate degree in Positive Behaviour Support/Occupational Therapy/Speech and Language Pathology/Social Work/PsychologyRegistration as a Speech and Language Pathologist/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist/Teacher/Nurse/Provisional Psychologist/Psychologist or another health, disability, or allied health professionDoes this role sound like it's for you?
