Shared success.About UsGR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.We currently have multiple projects on the go and our projection for growth means we are actively looking for talent across all areas of our business.The OpportunityWe are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering Team working alongside a multidisciplined team to deliver outstanding results across various projects in the mining and minerals industryBased out of our Brisbane CBD office you would work on various projects across Australia across a variety of commodities ( gold ,copper, iron ore etc)



primarily in our Brisbane office but there would be some site visits depending on project requirementsYour Typical Day Will Consist OfEnsuring all Engineering work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practicesEnsuring Project conformity with regards to safety, environmental and quality issuesPreparing and reviewing preliminary and detailed designs for Engineering project work and ensure compliance with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of workLead the designated design engineering and drafting team to achieve project goals within time and budget constraintsPreparing documentation standards, procedures, safe working practices and monitoring regimes in respect of work on or around engineering projectsTechnical review of tender documentation for projects so that project objectives (schedule and performance) are achievedPreparing maintenance planning data for all project fixed plant and infrastructure items covered by the project design scopeAbout YouRelevant engineering qualifications and minimum 8 years professional experience in Mechanical EngineeringDemonstrated knowledge in mineral processing and materials handling environmentAbility to execute the design process in conjunction with all relevant disciplines and ensure design coordination of any multi-disciplined activitiesBe proficient with relevant engineering software used within the organisation, particularly excel,



word and computer aided drafting tools.Ability to handle priorities and tasks with accuracy and excellent attention to detailDemonstrate high level communication and problem solving skillsStrong knowledge of Australian and international piping codes, standards and industry best practices applicable to mining and minerals processing facilities.Extensive experience with slurry, process water, tailings and long-distance pumping systems, with an ability to lead piping engineering and design, acting as the technical authority for piping specifications, material selection, layouts, and system design.Full & unrestricted Australian working rights - no sponsorship avaliable and applicants MUST reside in AustraliaWhat's On OfferWe value you and understand that life happens outside of work.
