As a Software Engineer II on League of Legends, you'll work with your engineering team to enable developers to build & maintain UI and around-game experiences that excite our players.
You will report to the team's Engineering Manager and work in a hybrid environment from our Sydney office.Responsibilities:Contribute heavily to technical design, architecture and implementation of features with a focus on UI/UX systems and player-facing featuresCollaborate with designers, product managers and artists to build engaging game systems, tools, events and meta systemsPartner with service and backend teams to integrate end-to-end solutionsLead technical design and implementation of systems leveraging your expertise in UI developmentsEnsure exceptional code quality by adhering to engineering excellence which includes: code maintainability, quality, monitoring, code reviews,



and documentationQualifications5+ years of skilled experience in game developmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceProficiency in C++ with experience in large, complex codebasesHands-on experience with UI/UX development in gamesExperience with distributed systems, microservices and software at a high scaleExperience collaborating across disciplines (e.g. Design, Art, QA, Production)Generalist mindset with the ability to contribute across the stack (gameplay, client UI, backend services)Desired QualificationsExperience building UI in various game engines like Unity or UnrealExperience playing League of Legends or strong motivation to learn and play
