Reporting to the Senior Manager - Contracts, you'll play a key role in supporting project success through:
Negotiating a broad range of contracts, including Projects, Operations and Corporate
Managing end-to-end contract formation and administration, including Framework Agreements.
Leading and overseeing medium- to high-risk contracts and categories, ensuring robust governance, risk management, performance monitoring and financial oversight.
Developing and maintaining contract and category management plans, including procurement documentation for higher-risk agreements.
Monitoring and analysing contract performance and expenditure to ensure alignment with budgets and business objectives.
Preparing and presenting contract strategies and award recommendations to the Contract Board.
Ensuring compliance with contract management policies and providing expert guidance to maximise value and quality outcomes.
Identifying, assessing and reporting contract risks, while implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Developing negotiation strategies and leading complex commercial negotiations.
Be Part of the Solution
Extensive relevant contracts management experience.
Degree qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law or Engineering, with AIQS, RICS or similar accreditation preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult, negotiate and build effective relationships across a range of stakeholders.
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare procurement and technical documentation.
Well-developed analytical, research and evaluation skills, with the ability to identify practical solutions to complex issues.
Understanding of the resources sector, with renewable energy sector experience highly regarded.
