Westforce proudly design, construct and maintain electrical and power generation for the water infrastructure around Western Australia.
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and dedicated Electrician to join our team.
The successful applicant will be required to work in a hybrid role throughout Western Australia, predominantly on a FIFO roster, from mine sites to large agricultural farms and based out of our workshop in Bibra Lake, WA.
Responsibilities:
Wiring, installation and commissioning of electrical control panels and systems.
Wiring and commissioning of CR and submersible bore pump distribution/control panel installations.
Assisting with the design of projects and incorporate strategies to implement.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to identify and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues.
Interpret technical wiring schematics and complete test requirements to AS ZS/****.
Assist where required on submersible pump installations, centre pivot & various agricultural projects
Requirements:
A grade electrical license
Minimum 2 years experience as a qualified electrician
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control panels
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Manual Drivers License
Ability to pass full pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
Have a strong focus on promoting and displaying a positive attitude towards safety.
Possess strong communication skills.
Excellent teamwork abilities
Precise attention to detail and thoroughness.
Have competent planning and prioritising skills.
In addition to the above points (not essential but willing to learn / obtain)
Programable logic controller training and upskilling
Certificate IV Electrical Instrumentation
Experience with PLC's , VSD's and fault finding electrical faults in pumping systems.
