Location: Fraser, ACT ****
NurseLink Healthcare is seeking a reliable, compassionate and experienced Support Worker to provide ongoing Domestic Assistance and Social Support for a client in Fraser, ACT.
Service Details :
Domestic Assistance:
2 hours fortnightly commencing Monday, 24 August ****
Social Support:
1.5 hours commencing Thursday, 27 August ****
Additional Social Support:
3 hours commencing Thursday, 4 September ****
Frequency: Ongoing
Duties Domestic Assistance:
Vacuuming
Cleaning the bathroom and toilet
Mopping floors
Dusting
Changing bed linen when requested
General household assistance as directed by the client
Duties Social Support and Shopping Assistance:
Accompanying the client grocery shopping
Assisting the client to locate and select items
Reaching items from shelves and placing them in the trolley
Assisting with storing groceries at home
Following the client's instructions and preferences
Providing friendly companionship and social support
Requirements:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Police Check
First Aid and CPR certification
Working rights in Australia
Previous disability support experience is desirable
Availability to work flexible hours
