We provide training programs, engagement with local communities and a commitment to improve the world around us, inch by inch.The role of the Senior Field Calibration Technician is certified in Instrumentation and will perform calibrations, verification repair services and ensure that the calibration tasks and repairs being performed by Trescal Australia are of a high standard and comply with NATA and other regulatory requirements in the field.
Service budgets also need to be met, and the senior position requires managing jobs and directing teams on-site as required.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform calibrations, verifications, preventative maintenance and repairs as requestedby the customer and instructed by the Branch Manager / Team Leader for our customers in the field.Ensure all calibrations are performed as per documented Trescal calibration procedures.Ensure all jobs are completed in a timely fashion with best possible TATEnsure that reports are accurate and error free before they are submitted to Admin or clientsEnsure all issues with spreadsheets and or calibration equipment are brought to the attentionof the Team Leader or Branch Manager,



as soon as possible.Leading job and directing teams on-site as required, ensuring all planning is to a highstandardParticipate to ensure that the nominated monthly invoiced work target is achieved.Be involved and responsible for resolving first line customer queries and complaints asrequired.Participate and encourage teamwork within the service area and company as a whole.Delivering service to company KPI's and QAMaintenance and calibration of internal equipmentEnsure Laptops and Phone provided are treated with care and maintained in good order.
Any problems, loss or damage are to be brought to the attention of your Lab Manager or State ManagerEnsure any personal accident occurring on site or in Trescal Labs is reported to your TeamLeader or Branch Manager and OHS Officer immediately.Ensure risk assessments, JSA, SWMS are completed as appropriateParticipation in field management meetings and toolbox meetingsBuild relationships and maintain/grow business with existing customer base for TSA Field,



identify opportunities to expand contracts by adding recent sites in order to consolidate sales and provide better value for customersAny other reasonable tasks as instructed by the Team Leader or Branch ManagerKey RequirementsQualificationsMinimum of 5 years industry experienceTrade qualification or diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, or related disciplineRelevant AQF certificate IV or equivalent work experience disciplineDemonstrated experience in process instrumentation calibration and maintenanceAbility to read and interpret P&IDs; and technical documentationStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel regionally and work overtime as requiredHighly DesirableExperience in ISO/IEC ***** or NATA-accredited environmentsExposure to PLC/SCADA systemsIndustry experience (mining, oil & gas, water, manufacturing)High-risk work licences (confined space, working at heights, etc.)Required Personal QualitiesStrong organisational skills and ability to stick to agreed deadlinesFlexibility and a team-based approach to tackling workload day-to-dayAbility to work autonomouslyAn open mind a "can do"and solution focused attitudeProfessional presentation and approach to the job, colleagues and clients.Qualified level of written and verbal communication skills.Dedication to building long lasting relationships with customers and stakeholdersDedication to exceeding sales targets in the budgetAble to work autonomously on a day-to-day basis and manage time effectively.Mechanical and computer aptitude (Excel etc.)PunctualWorking ConditionsNormal working conditions, OT as required by the businessFrequent travel and overnight stays to metropolitan, regional, and remote areasUnlock job insightsHirer responsiveness Salary match Number of applicantsWhat can I earn as a Calibration Technician
