Austek Roads completes asphalt and sealing works for a number of city councils and major civil construction companies.About the RoleAustek Roads requires the skills of aSenior Payroll Officer, for the full end to end payroll function and administration duties.
This includes assisting the finance team to ensure financial functions, compliance and reporting are complete and accurate in a timely manner.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform payroll administration and maintain employee records including setting up new starters, terminations and payments,
pay increases and back-paysProcess and maintain the weekly end to end payroll functions and systemsCommunicating with internal and external stakeholdersMaintain employee cards, personnel file and databaseIdentify and resolve payroll errors or discrepanciesPrepare monthly payroll reports and end of month payroll accrualProcess Annual Payroll Tax Return for all statesProcess and administer Workcover and Portable LSL for all statesProcess weekly PAYGProcess and administer monthly super and payroll tax for all statesEnsure compliance with current Awards, legislation, provisions, guidelines, contracts, policies & proceduresRequirementsMYOB Experience RequiredPrevious experience in similar payroll role.Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Basic business administration principals.Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards.Must currently reside in Australia.
