Senior Dental Assistant – Specialist Orthodontist
Permanent Position - Full Time
Smart Orthodontics is a long-established Orthodontic practice in South Australia, providing specialist Orthodontic services to patients across the city, suburban and rural locations.
We are committed to providing high quality Orthodontic treatment in a friendly and caring environment.
We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our skilled and caring team of hygienists, assistants and administration staff.
This is a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment that offers variety, flexibility and encourages initiative, whilst providing excellent Orthodontic care to our patients.
About you:
You have 1+ years experience as a Dental Assistant and chairside assisting;
You are sincere and caring;
You are a team player with a great attitude and a strong work ethic;
You would love to join us in a Full-Time role where you will be trained and well compensated;
You are enthusiatic, highly motivated and take pride in your work;
Certificate III in Dental Assisting is an advantage or willing to undertake course at practice expense.
Key Responsibilities/Skills:
A focus on providing each patient with a positive, professional service;
Strict adherence to the latest infection control protocols and standards;
Ability to operate at a fast pace, providing assistance to our specialist Orthodontist and hygienists;
Confident, happy, flexible,
team orientated person, who cares about fellow team members and our patients;
Ability and skills to work on reception as well as a chair-side dental assistant;
Basic computer skills;
Licence to operate an ionising radiation apparatus, (x-ray licence) is an advantage or willingness to complete the qualification;
Willing to travel between our two beautiful and modern practices at Stepney and Gawler.
Monthly travel to Clare is shared amongst the team and staff are compensated for all travel.
