Wilderness School is a non-denominational day and boarding girl's school educating students from Early Learning Centre through to Year 12.

We are seeking casual
Summer Sports Coaches
to join our Sport program for the ******* summer season.
These casual positions, reporting to the Director of Sport & Recreation, cover training sessions and matches across Term ****** and Term ******, in a range of summer sports listed below.
Basketball
Tennis
Volleyball
Touch Football
Cricket
AFL (Junior)
Water Polo
The Coach plays a vital role in delivering a high quality sporting program, coaching and developing students in a safe, supportive and engaging environment while fostering teamwork, discipline and personal growth.
The successful applicants will deliver training in a positive and encouraging manner that ensures every athlete feels valued and given the opportunity to improve, attend all training sessions, matches and scheduled coaches' meetings, and communicate openly with the Director of Sport & Recreation and relevant sport coordinators.
The role also carries important supervisory responsibilities, including accompanying students on bus journeys to and from training and matches, carrying and returning the first aid kit for off-site sessions, recording accurate attendance, taking responsibility for team equipment, and securing facilities and equipment at the conclusion of each session.
We are looking for coaches who model professionalism and uphold the School's culture, ensuring every student is valued and encouraged to reach her full potential both on and off the field.

About You
Experience coaching school-aged students (preferred)
Strong sport-specific knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, organised and professional
Current Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
Relevant coaching accreditation (desirable)
