Reporting directly to the Finance Director - Advisory Services, this role plays a key part in supporting the Project & Development Services (PDS) finance function.You will provide financial insight, commercial support, and accurate reporting across a portfolio of projects, working closely with Project Managers and senior stakeholders.
This is an excellent prospect for someone with strong project accounting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesUpdate and maintain Work in Progress (WIP) reporting based on Finance Control Sheets from Project ManagersPrepare monthly client billings, revenue and expense accruals, including supporting documentationAssist with Percentage of Completion (PoC) calculations, ensuring accuracy and complianceMaintain and reconcile the general ledger in line with accounting policiesSupport month-end activities, including accruals, margin analysis, and cash flow reportingAssist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and insightsProvide financial guidance and training to Project Managers on budgets, cost tracking,



and processesIdentify and drive process improvements across finance operationsProvide ad hoc support to the Finance Lead and broader finance teamAbout YouCA or CPA qualified (or currently working towards)Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting3+ years' experience in project accounting, with strong exposure to Percentage of Completion (PoC) methodologySolid understanding of IFRS 15 and its application in project-based environmentsBroad accounting experience (ideally 5+ years) with strong technical capabilityStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputWhy Join BGIS?
