You'll be involved in building, configuring, migrating and supporting critical server environments while helping ensure systems are secure, reliable and ready for operational handover.What you'll be doingBuilding, configuring and supporting Windows and Linux servers using established processes and standardsAdministering Windows Server ****, **** and **** environmentsManaging Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and Certificate ServicesSupporting RHEL environments across patching, hardening, package management and performance tuningAdministering VMware vSphere and ESXi virtual infrastructureDelivering server provisioning, deployment, patching and lifecycle-management activitiesSupporting virtual server migrations, upgrades and broader platform-modernisation initiativesAutomating operational and administrative tasks using PowerShell and BashMonitoring systems,



investigating incidents and resolving complex infrastructure issuesCompleting server validation, readiness testing, documentation and operational handoverSupporting backup, recovery and disaster-recovery processesWhat we're looking forExtensive Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration experienceStrong knowledge of core Windows infrastructure services, including Active Directory and Group PolicySolid VMware vSphere and ESXi experienceHands-on experience with server provisioning, patching and lifecycle managementStrong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilityExperience using Bash or Linux shell scriptingSound understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, routing and firewall conceptsExperience with enterprise monitoring, logging and troubleshootingStrong documentation, stakeholder communication and problem-solving skillsExperience with server migrations, platform modernisation, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible or other infrastructure automation tools will be highly regarded.Why consider this opportunity?
