About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assembler to join our manufacturing team.
This hands-on role involves assembling metal and fabricated components, sub-assemblies, and equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, values safety, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly
Assemble fabricated metal components in line with technical drawings and SOPs
Perform mechanical fitting, bolting,



alignment and welding preparation
Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders
Maintain accurate production records
Machine/Equipment Operation
Operate production machinery including overhead cranes and lifting equipment safely and efficiently
Set up machines and perform changeovers as required
Troubleshoot basic machinery issues and escalate where required
Safety & Quality
Complete equipment pre-start checks
Follow all WHS procedures and company policies
Complete quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
Maintain a clean and secure work environment
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
About You
Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience operating hand/power/ pneumatic tools and machinery
Strong attention to detail
A solid understanding of workplace health & safety practices
Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
Willingness to undergo and successfully pass a pre-employment medical assessment (including functional capacity assessment) and Drug and alcohol screening
