Polymetals (ASX: POL) acquired the Endeavor Mine in **** and formally took control in August ****.
Endeavor is a major underground silver/lead/zinc mine, located 40km north-west of Cobar in Central-West NSW.
Since then, Polymetals has delivered an initial 10-year mine plan, secured two US $20million (A$30million) loan facilities, and has begun 24/7 concentrate production.
It's an exciting time for the Cobar region, with significant employment opportunities on the market for Endeavor Mine, one of Australia's major base metals mines.
The Role
We're seeking an experienced
Mobile Maintenance Supervisor
to join our maintenance team.
Reporting directly to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, you'll lead a crew of tradespeople and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of Endeavor's underground fleet.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising day-to-day maintenance activities across underground mobile equipment (Sandvik jumbo drills, Cat **** & **** loaders, MT65 Epiroc trucks, etc.)
Coordinating preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and inspections to optimise fleet availability
Supporting, mentoring, and developing trades staff to build a strong, high-performing team culture
Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards at all times
Liaising with the Superintendent and technical teams to improve reliability and efficiency
To be successful in this role, you will have:




Trade qualifications in a mechanical, electrical, or automotive discipline (essential)
Supervisory experience in underground mobile maintenance (mining environment essential)
Strong technical understanding of mobile equipment maintenance and fault diagnosis
Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, build and mentor a team
Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement
