About the Role
Are you a qualified electrician looking to step up into a leadership role with greater responsibility and better remuneration?
We are a growing electrical contracting business specialising exclusively in
clean, efficient, medium-to-high-end residential new construction
.
We are seeking an experienced
Electrical Supervisor
to lead our team, oversee project setups, mentor apprentices and tradespeople, and ensure our high quality standards are consistently met.
This is a hands-on, off-desk leadership role focused on driving site efficiency, maintaining top-tier workmanship, and supporting our field team from slab to handover.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership, Upskilling & Quality Audits
Oversee, mentor, and upskill a team of qualified electricians and apprentices.
Perform critical stage-by-stage quality and safety audits (from slab setup to final handover).
Provide hands-on guidance on consumer mains, slab conduits, cutouts, and specialised site layouts.
2. Job Setups & Site Efficiency (First & Second Fix)
Coordinate site setups, ensuring all materials, joinery points, sub-boards, and submains are measured, ordered, and delivered on time.
Assist tradespeople with floor/wall layouts, drilling, trimming, and ducting setup to maintain maximum productivity.
Identify potential installation issues early and liaise directly between onsite trades, building supervisors, and our main office.
Swiftly resolve site bottlenecks and organise any missing or client-supplied materials ASAP.
3. Commissioning, Testing & Handover
Conduct Liven-Up Audits to verify site safety before energisation.
Partner with tradespeople to test, energise, and issue Certificates of Compliance (CoC).
Generate final completion punch-lists and execute thorough final handover audits to guarantee premium delivery.
What We Are Looking For
Licensing:
Current Australian Unrestricted Electrical Licence & Valid Driver's Licence.
Experience:
5 to 10+ years of solid experience in residential new builds (medium-to-high-end residential experience is highly regarded).
Skills:
Outstanding fault-finding abilities, sharp attention to detail, and exceptional organisational skills.
Communication:
Ability to represent the company professionally when speaking with site managers, builders, and clients.
Mindset:
A proactive problem-solver who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys training and developing others.
