About the role

As a People Partner, you'll be a trusted partner to leaders and employees across CEA, helping create an environment where our people can do their best work, feel supported and thrive.
You'll work closely with our teams to understand what's happening on the ground, provide practical and thoughtful people advice, and help bring our people strategy to life.
From supporting leaders through people matters and organisational change, to building a positive employee experience, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference.

As a People Partner, being present and connected a with our people is an significant part of the role and our culture at CEA.
Key responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership and department heads to understand business objectives and provide strategic HR advice to support the achievement of organisational goals
Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices that promote a positive workplace culture
Provide coaching and mentoring to managers on people management matters, including performance management, employee engagement,
and conflict resolution
Develop and deliver employee development programmes, training initiatives, and succession planning strategies
Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievances, and workplace issues, ensuring fairness and consistency
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
Monitor employee engagement and wellbeing, identifying opportunities to enhance workplace satisfaction and retention
What we're looking for
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner, or similar strategic HR management role within an internal HR function
Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and workplace relations legislation
Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
Proven track record in talent acquisition and recruitment process management
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into effective HR initiatives and programmes
