Insight Training is a well-established Western Australian RTO helping people build practical skills, access new opportunities and move towards more meaningful careers.
We're a people-focused organisation, but we're also commercially driven, constantly evolving and serious about delivering quality outcomes.
We invest heavily in our people through structured onboarding, ongoing coaching and genuine opportunities to develop.
We're now looking for a Workforce Development Manager who can build solid relationships, create opportunities and turn those opportunities into real, measurable results.
The role
This is a relationship-led business development role focused on growing Insight's presence, partnerships and enrolments across Western Australia.
You'll work with employers, industry, employment service providers, community organisations and other key stakeholders to understand their workforce needs and connect them with the right training solutions.
This isn't a role where you'll sit back and wait for opportunities to land in your inbox.
You'll be expected to build your own network, manage your own pipeline and consistently generate new business.
You'll be responsible for:
Developing new employer, industry and community partnerships
Identifying workforce needs and recommending suitable training solutions
Proactively generating leads, referrals and enrolment opportunities
Managing relationships from initial contact through to ongoing partnership
Preparing transparent, accurate proposals and partnership agreements
Meeting individual enrolment, activity and revenue targets
Representing Insight at meetings, networking events and industry functions
Maintaining accurate CRM records, documentation and follow-up activity
Working closely with our sales, training and operational teams to deliver strong outcomes
About you
You don't need to come directly from the education or training sector, but you do need proven experience in business development, partnerships,

account management or consultative sales.
You'll know how to start conversations, uncover genuine needs and build trust with a wide range of people.
Just as importantly, you'll understand that strong relationships still need to produce outcomes.
We're looking for someone who:
Has a demonstrated ability to generate and convert new business
Builds credible, long-term professional relationships
Is confident approaching new organisations and initiating conversations
Can work autonomously without needing to be constantly followed up
Is commercially aware and genuinely motivated by results
Manages their pipeline, priorities and follow-up consistently
Communicates clearly and represents the business professionally
Takes ownership when something needs to be resolved
Keeps accurate records and understands that compliance matters
Experience within the RTO, VET, employment services or workforce development sectors would be valuable, but it isn't essential.
Experience using systems such as HubSpot or VETtrak advantageous.
Why Insight?
Insight Training is not an organisation that chases enrolments at any cost.
We care deeply about the quality of our training, the integrity of our advice and the outcomes we create for students, employers and the wider community.
We do things properly, and we expect our people to do the same.
You'll be supported by an experienced leadership team
Provided with ongoing coaching
Trusted to take ownership of your region, relationships and results.
There is plenty of support here and clear accountability.
Your performance matters, your pipeline matters and the way you represent Insight matters.
If you're proactive, commercially switched on and genuinely good at building partnerships that go somewhere, we'd love to hear from you.
Please submit your CV and a cover letter telling us why this role genuinely suits you.
