Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service (PAMS) is seeking a passionate and organized
Ear Health Coordinator
to join our Clinical Services team in Newman.
This role plays a vital part in improving ear health and hearing outcomes for Aboriginal people living in remote communities across the Pilbara.
Working closely with patients, families, clinicians, audiologists and visiting specialists, you will coordinate the delivery of ear and hearing health services and support people throughout their healthcare journey.
About the Role
As the Ear Health Coordinator, you will:
Coordinate ear health recalls, referrals and patient follow-up.
Support patients through audiology and ENT referral pathways.
Coordinate telehealth and visiting specialist appointments.
Maintain patient tracking systems and service data.
Liaise with health professionals, schools, families and community stakeholders.
Assist with community education and health promotion activities.
Contribute to service reporting, quality improvement and program outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience in ear and hearing health, Aboriginal health, community services, or a related field.
Knowledge of,



or willingness to learn about, ear disease, hearing health, audiology and ENT referral pathways.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate appointments, referrals and patient care across multiple stakeholders.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, particularly when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
An understanding of culturally secure, person-centred and trauma-informed care.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong administrative and data management skills.
A willingness to travel regularly to remote communities, including overnight stays.
