Kolbe Catholic College is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Materials Design & Technology Teacher to join our agile secondary learning community.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an educator who enjoys developing practical skills, fostering creativity and empowering students through hands-on learning experiences.
Experience in Metalwork and Senior Secondary pathways will be highly regarded.
About the Role
You will:
Teach Materials Design & Technology across Years 7-12.
Deliver innovative practical and theory-based learning programs.
Foster creativity, problem-solving and technical expertise.
Maintain safe and engaging workshop learning environments.
Contribute to the pastoral and extra-curricular life of the College.
Support the mission and values of Catholic Education.
About You
You will demonstrate:
Relevant teaching qualifications.
Experience teaching Design & Technology subjects.
Experience in Metalwork and Senior Secondary courses (highly regarded).
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
The ability to work collaboratively within a professional team.




Capacity to teach Religious Education (advantageous but not essential).
