Certificate III Educator

Sanctuary Early Learning Centre is looking for Certificate III Educators to join our team!
We are seeking dedicated, mature and enthusiastic educators who want to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and families.

At Sanctuary, no two days are the same.
You'll need to be prepared to:
Receive a rock that is "VERY special" and understand that you have just been entrusted with a priceless treasure.
Treat a tiny snail, an interesting cloud and a puddle of suspiciously shaped water as legitimate topics of conversation.
Understand that a child shouting "I found something!" means you are about to witness something truly extraordinary.
Be willing to stop everything to admire a rainbow, a particularly impressive stick or an ant carrying something much bigger than itself.
Know that "Why?" can be followed by another "Why?" approximately 47 times — and somehow still be wonderful.
Be prepared to investigate the mysterious disappearance of one tiny toy that has somehow become the most important object in the entire building.
Understand that a cardboard box is not a box.
It is a rocket, a race car, a cubby house, a boat or possibly a portal to another universe.




Be able to look genuinely impressed when presented with a painting that may or may not contain anything recognisable.
Understand that glitter has no respect for boundaries and may still be found on you three days later.
We want educators who bring warmth, maturity, reliability and a positive attitude to their work and who:
Have a genuine passion for early childhood education.
Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Hold a current Working With Children Check.
Have a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Regulations.
Have knowledge of and experience implementing the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Understand the importance of creating and maintaining child safe environments.
Have a strong understanding of child protection and place children's safety and wellbeing at the centre of their practice.
Understand that every child is unique and that educators facilitate learning in ways that respond to individual needs, interests and strengths.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and effective in busy environments.
Demonstrate positive self-management and contribute to a professional, enthusiastic and respectful team culture.
Hold current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification, or be willing to obtain these.
