Established in ****, the Anglican Schools Commission Incorporated, trading as AngliSchools, is a leading system of co-educational Anglican schools across Western Australia, Victoria and Current South Wales.
AngliSchools currently comprises 16 schools educating approximately 19,000 students, with a 17th school due to open in ****.

About Esperance Anglican Community School
Esperance Anglican Community School (EACS) is a co-educational Year 7 to Year 12 school located on the doorstep of one of the world's most pristine natural playgrounds.
From 11 students in its foundation year, the School has grown into a thriving community of more than 310 students and over 40 dedicated teaching and support staff.
Enrolment is expected to reach approximately 330 students in ****.
The School is widely recognised for sustained academic excellence, strong pastoral care and an inclusive community in which every student is known and supported.
Its comprehensive educational offering includes ATAR, vocational, trades and alternative pathways; the highly personalised Big Picture Program; an established co-curricular program; and a 40-bed boarding house serving families across the agricultural region surrounding Esperance.
A recently approved Strategic Plan and Master Plan will guide the School's priorities, development and growth over the next five years and beyond.
The opportunity
The Principal is responsible to AngliSchools for the leadership, conduct,
management, success and reputation of EACS.
The successful candidate will build on the School's strong foundations while leading the next stage of strategic growth, educational innovation and community engagement.

Primary responsibilities
Drive Mission
- maintain and promote a values-based culture grounded in Anglican Identity and the core values of Faith, Inclusion, Respect and Excellence.
Strategic Thinking - lead the School's long-term sustainability, growth and future success through focused implementation of the Strategic Plan.
Leadership - provide an authentic and visible leadership presence, continuously developing, challenging and improving practices where needed.
Teaching, Learning and Wellbeing - drive innovation and excellence while overseeing outstanding pastoral care and student wellbeing programs.
Staff Growth and Development - build a positive, accountable staff culture and support each staff member's professional growth and sense of belonging.
Governance, Community and Stewardship - partner with AngliSchools and Senior Leadership to manage risk, compliance, enrolments, finance and operations, while strengthening community relationships and the School's reputation.

The successful candidate will be:

a strategic thinker able to articulate a clear vision and lead its implementation with purpose, rigour and clarity;

an experienced leader with sound knowledge of governance, educational leadership and financial management; and
a graduate of a recognised university, preferably with postgraduate qualifications.
Appointment and remuneration
The initial appointment will be for five years.
Further terms may be offered subject to performance appraisal and AngliSchools policy.
An attractive and competitive remuneration package will be offered and includes a three-bedroom two-bathroom Principal's Residence in one of Esperance's prime locations near the school.
It is anticipated that the successful candidate will commence on 1 January ****, unless otherwise agreed.
