We are seeking a
Contracts & Procurement Advisor
on a 2 year fixed-term contract to join our HSE & Operated Assets team to provide Contracts & Procurement (C&P;) services and activities across the business.
Reporting to the General Manager - Supply Chain and working under the day-to-day direction of the Contracts & Procurement Lead, you will:
Support the business where required, in the provision of C&P; services to meet the business needs.
Perform the procurement of equipment and the contracting of third-party services, in collaboration with broader teams, to enable the effective & productive delivery of business activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable HSE contractor management requirements.
Work efficiently and effectively within the procurement processes and systems as outlined in the BOS Supply Chain Management Process.
Prepare prequalification, tender documents, and negotiate standard terms.
Organise negotiations, coordinate tender clarifications and undertake commercial evaluations.
Liaise with key internal stakeholders to obtain necessary reviews and approvals.
Draft contract documentation, approval documentation and formal correspondence.
Maintain C&P; documentation, records, and associated reporting requirements.
Liaise with business and Accounts teams to facilitate timely supplier invoice payment.
Conduct post award contract management,
including uploading contract details into Coupa and arranging, in conjunction with Accounts Payable, the appropriate Purchase Orders be raised.
Review requisitions for accuracy and appropriateness.
Provide advice to requisitioners regarding optimum sourcing strategies.
Manage sourcing activities such as Requests for Quotation and sole source negotiations.
Negotiation and award of Purchase Orders.
Monitoring of suppliers to ensure deliveries/completion meet business needs
Review and validation of invoices
Co-ordinate resolution of discrepancies between Purchase Orders, invoice and receipted quantities.

To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and experience:
A minimum of 5 years' experience within C&P; in the oil & gas industry.
Experience in contract lifecycle management including procurement planning, tendering, negotiations, contract formation, administration, and contract close-out.
Proven track record of working effectively within procurement processes in an operational oil & gas environment or similar experience.
Experience in raising and amending Purchase Orders in procurement software systems (preferably Coupa).
Driven to deliver best-for-business value outcomes.
A team player with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Sound organisational skills, including multitasking, time-management and influencing without authority.
High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
Excellent business writing and oral communication skills, high attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
