About the role
As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality environmental services to our clients.
Working closely with clients, regulators, and internal technical specialists, you will contribute to a broad range of interesting projects while contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.
Key responsibilities
Environmental approvals and impact assessments
Statutory approvals and regulatory advice
Environmental auditing and compliance assessments
Environmental monitoring and management planning
Mine closure planning and implementation
Environmental offsets
Client relationship management
Business development and proposal preparation
GIS and spatial analysis projects (where applicable)
Mentoring and supporting junior team members
What we are looking for:
You'd be a great fit if you bring:
A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline;
At least 5 years' experience in environmental consulting, mining, industry, infrastructure, or related sectors;
Demonstrated experience preparing and managing environmental approvals and impact assessments in Western Australia;
Strong knowledge of WA environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks, particularly those relevant to mining and industry;
Experience preparing technical reports, management plans, compliance documentation, and environmental assessments;
Demonstrated expertise in mine closure planning and environmental approvals;
Strong project management and organisational skills;
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills;
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships;
Experience engaging with government agencies and key stakeholders;
A strong skilled reputation and successful track record delivering environmental outcomes for clients;
Business development experience, including identifying opportunities and contributing to winning new work;
Experience presenting at industry forums or professional events (desirable);
GIS experience (desirable); and
Full Australian working rights.
