About the role
Southern Cross Logistics Management Services is seeking a skilled and reliable
Forklift Operator
to join our team in Malaga, WA.
This is a full time position offering an exciting opportunity to become a key member of our warehousing and Third Party logistics team.
As a Forklift Operator, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout our facilities, contributing directly to our operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing
Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack and store goods in our warehouse facilities
Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles with precision and care
Conducting maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure operational safety and reliability
Maintaining accurate records of inventory movements and tracking goods throughout the warehouse
Following all health and safety protocols and procedures
Organising and maintaining warehouse spaces to optimise storage capacity and accessibility
Communicating effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
What we're looking for
Valid forklift licence
Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in material handling
Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination
Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive lifting and movement tasks




Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory management
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
Previous experience in warehousing, storage or distribution operations is highly advantageous
