Quicksilver Cruises is looking for Catering Assistants to join our busy team in Port Douglas.
About the role
As a Catering Assistant, you will play an important role in preparing and packing food for our daily reef tours.
Working from our Port Douglas catering facility, you will prepare meals, pack catering requirements and ensure food is ready and delivered to our vessels on time.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Catering Manager your key responsibilities will include:
Daily food preparation for our vessels
Basic kitchen hand duties
Food delivery to our vessels
Adhering to Food Safety practices
Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene
About you
We are looking for someone who:
Is available for early morning starts from 5:00am, reliable and punctual
Has previous hospitality, catering or food preparation experience (preferred but not essential)
Has sound knowledge of Food Safety practices and hygiene
Holds a current Australian C class drivers Licence
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
