Sarros Plumbing
Perth
Good plumbers stay where they're respected, supported and paid properly.
Sarros Plumbing is looking for a qualified maintenance plumber to join our Perth team in a permanent full-time role.
We're an established, family-owned WA business with a strong pipeline of residential maintenance and hot-water work.
Our plumbers are backed by an experienced office and scheduling team, established systems and consistent work.
We pay a strong base because we want good plumbers—not salespeople working for commission.
From there, regular overtime and commission give you the opportunity to earn well above your base.
Most of our experienced tradespeople earn more than $130,000 a year.
About the role
Most of your work will involve residential hot-water systems, burst and leaking pipes, fault-finding, repairs and general plumbing maintenance throughout our Perth service area.
This is a hands-on role for a plumber who can diagnose problems, work independently and explain suitable solutions clearly to customers.
Sales ability is an advantage, but this is first and foremost a plumbing role.
Technical ability, reliability and quality workmanship come first.
What you'll be doing
Diagnosing plumbing and hot-water faults
Inspecting, repairing and replacing hot-water systems
Attending burst and leaking water pipes
Repairing and replacing water-supply pipework
Repairing and replacing taps, toilets, valves and fixtures
Completing general residential plumbing maintenance
Completing gas hot-water and appliance work where appropriately licensed
Explaining findings and suitable options clearly to customers
Identifying additional work that genuinely needs attention
Recording accurate job notes, photographs and materials in Simpro
Leaving every job safe, clean and properly completed
What we're looking for
Current WA plumbing tradesperson licence
Current Australian driver's licence
Residential maintenance or service-plumbing experience
Strong fault-finding and practical problem-solving skills
Confidence working with hot-water systems
Ability to work independently and manage service jobs
Clear and professional customer communication
Reliable job documentation and close-out
Respect for customers and their homes
Pride in clean, safe and compliant workmanship
Someone who wants to be part of a good team for the long term
Highly regarded
Current WA gas-fitting licence
Strong hot-water servicing and replacement experience
Experience using Simpro or another field-service system
Confidence explaining repair and replacement options
Ability to recognise genuine additional work
Previous experience with performance incentives or commission
Why join Sarros Plumbing?
Robust base salary from day one
Regular overtime opportunities
Commission paid on top
Most experienced tradespeople earn more than $130,000 annually
Permanent full-time employment
Stable and consistent maintenance and hot-water work
Experienced office and scheduling support
Established systems and clear expectations
Supportive, straightforward team environment
Long-term opportunities within a growing WA business
Sarros operates across plumbing, hot water, electrical and appliance services.
We're building for the long term and want good tradespeople who take pride in their work to build it with us.
If you're a qualified maintenance plumber who knows how to diagnose problems, look after customers and complete quality work, we'd like to hear from you.
