Jackson & Cooper Plumbing is seeking a skilled
Plumber/Maintenance Plumber
to join our team on a
full time basis
.
As a Plumber/Maintenance Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems whilst maintaining our reputation for excellence and reliability.
Key responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial properties
Conduct routine maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems
Diagnose plumbing faults using appropriate testing equipment and implement effective solutions
Fit and assemble plumbing fixtures, pipes, and fittings using hand and power tools
Test plumbing systems to ensure they function correctly and meet quality standards
Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly about work required and timeframes
Work collaboratively with team members and other trades on job sites
What we're looking for
A recognised plumbing qualification or apprenticeship completion in plumbing
Current registration with the relevant plumbing authority in Tasmania
Understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety requirements
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
Valid WWVP Card.
