Apprentice Fixed Plant Fitter:
As an Apprentice Fixed Plant Fitter,
you will gain hands-on experience and contribute to various projects across our Pinjarra workshop whilst undertaking formal education to obtain your trade certificate.
This position will be working directly under the guidance and mentorship of experienced trade qualified personnel.
This apprenticeship opportunity will commence in January ****
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Full-time position
10-hour day shifts
Monday to Friday
Based at our Pinjarra Workshop
January **** start date
Super paid on all hours worked
Requirements:
The following skills and qualifications will be required for you to succeed in this position:
A genuine interest in the Mechanical/Engineering industry
A pre-vocational course in engineering or mechanics would be highly advantageous
Experience using hand and power tools (preferred)
Able to be flexible in the day-to-day role as required
Any tickets would be advantageous but not essential, e.g. Forklift, Confined Space, Working at Heights
Current Manual Driver's License (preferred)
Must reside within 60kms of Pinjarra workshop
Preferred attributes of the successful candidate may include:
Strong work ethics, integrity, and commitment
Good communication skills
Motivated and self-starter
Ability to Multitask
Consistently maintain and provide a safe workplace in accordance with WHS standards.
Comply with WHS legislation, policies and procedures.
Successful applicants must have:
Must be over 16 years of age
Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical
National Police Clearance
