Graduate/Junior Accountant
to join our team in
Osborne Park, WA
.
This is a
full time position
offering an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified or early-career accounting professional to develop theirskills and build a rewarding career in bookkeeping and small practice accounting.
You will work within a supportiveenvironment where you can apply your theoretical knowledge to real-world accounting challenges whilst receivingmentorship from experienced professionals.
This role is fundamental to supporting our clients' financialmanagement and helping them make informed business decisions.
Key responsibilities
Prepare income tax returns and Activity Statements for Individuals, Partnerships, Trust, Companies and SMSF
Preparing and maintaining accurate bookkeeping records for a variety of clients
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
Maintaining general ledger accounts and ensuring accuracy of financial records
Liaising with clients to gather financial information and clarify accounting queries
Assisting with audit and assurance activities as required
Supporting the delivery of quality client service and meeting agreed deadlines
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in accounting,



Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year experience with exposure to bookkeeping or accounting software such as MYOB, Xero or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
Willingness to learn and develop technical accounting skills
Reliable, professional approach to work with a commitment to meeting client expectations
Basic understanding of tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
