School Based Apprenticeship pathway

School Based Apprenticeships are open to students entering Year 12 in **** who have completed all Stage 1 NTCET requirements.
Students will participate in the program two days per week, with one day allocated to VET study and two days continuing their school studies.
Commitment and training
Applicants must be willing to commit to a 12-month traineeship.
The program provides paid training and practical, hands-on IT experience while working towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Information Technology.
Classes will be delivered through our training partner, CDU, and attendance will be required as part of the traineeship.
What you'll need to be successful

Punctual, reliable and committed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
An organised approach, with strong attention to detail.
A positive, friendly attitude.
Ability to pass a National Police Check, if over 18 years of age.
A current NT Working with Children Clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
