you will play an important part in keeping materials and finished goods moving safely and efficiently throughout the site.Your responsibilities will include:Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficientlyMoving, positioning and organising goods throughout the factoryLoading and unloading vehicles in the yardEnsuring materials are delivered to the correct production and storage areasCompleting all relevant paperwork accurately and in accordance with company proceduresFollowing site processes, safe working practices and current health and safety policiesUndertaking manual handling duties, including the movement of heavy goodsMaintaining high standards of housekeeping across the working areaSupporting general factory and yard duties when requiredWorking collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production and operational targetsAbout YouWe are looking for an experienced and dependable FLT Driver who takes pride in working safely and contributing to a successful team.To be considered, you must have:A valid Counterbalance FLT licencePrevious experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck in a warehouse, factory or production environmentA valid full UK driving licenceA strong understanding of workplace health and safetyThe ability to complete manual handling and other physically demanding dutiesThe flexibility to work a rotating day, twilight and night-shift patternA willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditionsA positive, adaptable and proactive approachExcellent punctuality, reliability and work ethicThe ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamThis position would suit an experienced FLT Driver seeking the security of a genuinely permanent role, guaranteed hours and the opportunity to join a stable, growing organisation.
