About the Role
We are seeking a warm and highly organised
Front Office Receptionist
to join our School community.
This is a permanent 0.92FTE position, working
8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday, 44 weeks
of the year.
Reporting to the Enrolments Manager, this role is the first point of contact between the School and each of its stakeholders.
The key responsibility of the role is ensuring that all enquiries from past, current and future members of the Wilderness community are responded to in a courteous, helpful and professional manner.
The successful applicant will handle a wide range of administrative tasks efficiently in a busy, fast paced environment.
Responsibilities include managing a busy switchboard and the Info inbox, overseeing students signing in and out of the School, coordinating mail, deliveries and couriers, booking buses and taxis for excursions, processing and approving invoices, and managing stationery, name badges and student ID cards.
The Front Office Receptionist and the Enrolments Assistant work collaboratively and provide support to each other as required.
We are looking for someone who brings genuine warmth to every interaction, exceptional attention to detail, and the composure to keep a busy front office running smoothly.

About You
Relevant qualifications and/or experience related to the responsibilities required by the position
Knowledge of general office procedures, including operating a busy switchboard
Experience in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook, is essential
Experience in Synergetic and SharePoint would be advantageous
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Previous experience working within a school environment is preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate effectively to students, staff and parents
Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to meet changing deadlines
Superior customer relations skills whilst working within a high pressured environment
Proven capacity to operate in a collaborative, professional, confident and confidential manner, with evidence of ethical behaviour in all professional duties
